The BC HERN is supported by many individuals who donate their personal time and passion to build something that they believe is needed to help with safeguarding collections in this time of climate change. None of this would be been possible without the support of the many organizations and granting programmes below.
The Network itself has been created thanks to the support of the following institutions who have signed a Statement of Cooperation that enables conservation staff within these institutions to devote their expertise to this initiative.
The BC HERN salvage workshops and supporting resources are funded by Canadian Heritage Museum Assistance Program (MAP). MAP has also funded the creation of the 4 emergency kits that are deployed throughout BC.
